First Nations Audit Preparation Seminar 2016/17!

This workshop will provide participants with a detailed overview of managing the financial reporting process for First Nations. The workshop will include generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), steps to improve the audit process and offers excellent solutions for successfully preparing audited statements.
These seminars are intended for First Nations Finance Managers, FN Department Managers and Chief and Council. Auditors are invited to join the Auditors only Seminar in Vancouver on December 2nd, 2016.
The event is co-hosted by Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada (INAC) and Aboriginal Financial Officers Association of BC (AFOA BC). AFOA BC provides training and professional development by offering the latest tools and resources through conferences, seminars, workshops, research, and studies. AFOA BC works toward a vision of social, economic and cultural prosperity for all Aboriginal people in BC.
