Vancouver, BC – May 22, 2018. The AFOA BC 2018 First Nations Salary Survey is now available! Conducted by the Jouta Performance Group, the AFOA BC Salary Survey identifies pay ranges for leadership and employment positions typically found in First Nation organizations and Tribal Council/Aboriginal Health/Family Service Organizations. There were 76 organizations that participated in the survey providing data on over 50 benchmark positions in the areas of:
- Governance and Leadership
- Management and Administration
- Finance and Accounting
- Human Resources
- Social Development
- Housing and Infrastructure
- Natural Resource Management
- Economic Development
Best-practice compensation statistical analysis was used to ensure meaningful and accurate results and to safeguard the confidentiality of participant data. Survey results are presented in both salary and hourly equivalents and include average and median values as well as bottom and top quartiles. The data has been segmented and amalgamated in different ways to show results in ways that will be most meaningful to your organization.
The survey also provides data on compensation and benefits practices including group benefits, retirement, paid time off and other practices.
