The core of AFOA’s services revolve around our workshops and conferences. These events provide members with quality professional development, access to the latest tools and information, and invaluable networking opportunities. Further, all events and training are customized to meet the unique needs and perspectives of Aboriginal communities.

Conferences

Our quarterly conferences are the ultimate networking opportunity, as they are province-wide and also open to other AFOA chapters. Our summer conference is produced jointly with AFOA Alberta, and our fall conference includes our Annual General Meeting. Conference agenda’s are jam-packed with quality speakers and presentations as well as opportunities for audience participation. We also include plenty of time for networking and having fun.
